The Process
I call this “Lifestyle Discovery” which will be held at your residence. During this time together we will tour your home and discuss your style, how you live and avenues for creative ways to organize and optimize your new environment. We will also talk about personal and family preferences, review potential furniture placement, quantify available storage and discuss your priorities and scheduling. (Note: An $80 consultation fee will be due at this initial appointment, half of this fee will be credited toward your invoice when you employ further services of four hours or more in one session.)

Research shows that moving is frequently cited as one of life’s most stressful events. Though reasons for moving are usually positive … packing, unpacking and recreating a home is almost always chaotic and stressful. My skills and experience in planning, organization and support will be key to your successful move.
When the moving company arrives it is recommended that I be present to assist in the placement of furniture, boxes and other household items. It is then that we begin the final phase of transforming a chaotic, carton filled house into functional, beautiful, and stylish rooms that you soon will be pleased to call “home”.
It is preferable that our initial consultation be held at your current residence prior to your belongings being packed in order to provide me with a better understanding of the scope of work. I also recommend that we visit your new residence with furniture and storage planning in mind.
The process of “Home Revitalization” applies a fresh perspective to your existing environment by using the furnishings, artwork, lighting and decorative accessories that you already own. You will be surprised at how we can renew or redefine one or several rooms without having to tear down a single wall, buy new furniture or pick up a paint brush. Per your direction, we will “shop the house” to rediscover items which will help us create a new design concept. During this process focal points are created, traffic flow is improved, clutter is reduced, items organized and storage spaces are maximized. Depending on the scope of work, it is possible for us to complete a redesign in as little as one to two days. The results will be welcoming, comfortable, functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces with a whole new look and feel.
Whether you are an Empty Nester or handling a move for an elderly family member into an independent or assisted living environment, we can provide you with the much needed services and support to help ensure a stress free and successful move. We are also mindful of the need for compassion when it comes to “having to let go of things”. Therefore, we work closely with family members to lessen the impact of what is often a difficult transition. We can organize, arrange and decorate new environments while preserving familiarity with the careful placement of sentimental items and family treasures.
